[02:32:56] Hello, I believe the January 26th removal of the https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Aristotle%27s_theory_of_universals&action=history article was a malevolent action and its deletion should be rolled back. Aristotle was one of the biggest advocates of reality, and if I may be allowed to summarize his views, I think it is genius how he [02:32:57] categorizes behaviour as a property of matter, because this lets us model behaviour as a property of systems! Using Aristotle's universals we gain the vocabulary to discuss the emergent behaviour of complex systems. And that is why I strongly believe this article should stay on the internet! [02:41:14] I think Aristotle's Theory of Universals is the simplest, most unbiased ontology for modeling reality, and helped kindle the discovery of chemistry, biology and physics. An ontology where we are allowed to contextualize substrates. An ontology where truth can be discussed and juxtaposed objectively! This is my favourite article on Wikipedia and I [02:41:14] am asking for help here and on r/Chemistry so that it never gets deleted again.
