If no stream, then rm -ing it from git should be fine.  Events coming in would be rejected somewhere along the pipeline anyway.  If streams are configured then a delete would be accidental and could be restored, jobs rerun.  The intention is probably to keep them semi-indefinitely, but yeah, I
