But I am a little confused about the relationship between classes, categories, templates and forms. If I want to implement category access on the home page, how should I do it.？

[22:31:37] <guerd87>	 Im running Mediawiki 1.35 on my server. I have installed the Hitcounter extension which seems to be working fine. I have a new special page called Popular which counts all unique hits to the page. But I cant get the readout in the footer "This page has been viewed * times". Is this something I need to enable or to code into each page?
