[09:00:57] MediaWiki jobs question. Everything works, but in my database I see 4 job rows (old), but the maintenance showJobs.php says zero. Other jobs are executed, but these 4 nope. [09:01:52] They are refreshLinks [09:09:07] Basically I don't understand why these jobs are not executed by runJobs.sh. I also tried to run manageJobs.sh with "repush-abandoned" but now I have 8 jobs that are never executed ihih [09:17:44] OK it's interesting that it can stuck in a state because of "Revision not found". In my opinion for this case it should just drop the job. Anyway I will drop them for it. [09:19:20] Valerioboz[m]: I think they have to fail a few times before being dropped [09:19:28] But I also think it depends on the runner config [09:19:34] runJobs might not do that [09:19:48] They have job_attempts up to 3 [09:20:13] Yeah so if it fails 3 times, it'll drop [09:25:10] RhinosF1: it seems not, if they fails 3 times it just ignores them. I say this since a job was created in August [09:25:24] Hmm [09:25:38] Jobs is a really weird part of MediaWiki [09:25:46] :D [10:04:48] RhinosF1 the amazing part is that I've run manageJobs.sh to delete them, and it said this amazing phrase: "Queue has 0 job(s); deleting..." [10:05:25] So it was not able to count them but... it deleted the stuck ones, so I'm happy [16:08:22] "I'll help anyone interested on how to earn 80k or more in just 72hours from the crypto Trade, if interested send me a direct message via WhatsApp by asking me HOW for more details on how to get started [16:08:22] +1 (201) 870‑4619 [16:10:29] !ops Camille Louise's comment above is spam [16:10:49] Dinoguy10003726[: seriously? [16:10:57] Please read the scrollback [16:11:02] They've already been kicked [16:11:16] lol [16:11:47] RhinosF1: you're unable to see that on Discord [16:12:06] Weihnachtsferien: he's not on discord [16:12:07] https://usercontent.irccloud-cdn.com/file/MYXnleSw/image.png [16:12:11] ^ [16:12:21] yes I am, Rhinos [16:12:26] Eh [16:12:27] there is an IRC/Discord bridge in this channel [16:12:32] I did not the relay did that [16:12:38] so everything in this channel said is moved onto Discord and vice versa [16:12:46] Dinoguy10003726[: do not do !_ops from discord [16:12:54] Weihnachtsferien: I thought it used a relay bot [16:13:00] Not unique users [16:13:01] okay, sorry [16:13:11] only did it here because I was instructed to in the past for a similar case [16:13:24] Please do it from the side with information [16:13:46] perhaps the bot should be fixed so discord users can see that someone has been kicked [16:13:56] RhinosF1: I only have Discord and have no interest in setting up/using IRC or Matrix, so that won't be happening [16:14:01] Test [16:14:13] although with the way it works I'm not sure how that could be done [16:14:15] I did not know that worked like that [16:14:23] It should make a lot clearer that it's related [16:14:41] I wasn't aware until just now either [16:14:48] I definitely don't see why the bot can't mirror system messages as well [16:14:55] Reedy: But I want to know how to earn 80k or more in just 72 hours from the crypto Trade :( [16:15:02] That would be another option [16:15:08] although I suspect it will involve selling some organs [16:15:13] Tamzin: Well, it's still there in the scrollback. Just whatsapp them :P [16:15:28] Tamzin: no one said they have to be your organs 😉 [16:15:36] but hey, last organ I lost, I had to pay them, so it's only fair I make some primo Bitcoin for the next one [16:16:19] also heh I wonder... <@132642825006350337> does that ping? [16:16:30] nope [16:16:49] so 1-way sanitization :D [16:16:56] which makes sense on a technical level but is amusing [16:23:09] There is some pinging that can be done, not sure if it's from Matrix or IRC. [16:23:19] To Discord [16:24:26] yeah, Rhinos managed to ping me just now (I'm assuming from IRC) [16:25:03] not sure how that works, my first guess would be just typing the account name and four-digit identifier (e.g. @Dinoguy1000#3726) [16:25:57] but I have no idea how the Discord side of the bridge looks like from the IRC or Matrix side, so I could be (probably am) way off base [16:26:14] I typed your irc nick [16:26:19] Which is Dinoguy10003726[ [16:26:21] oh, huh [16:26:34] interesting [16:26:44] test RhinosF1[m] [16:27:31] It seems to map irc username to discord if there's a user from discord created [16:28:00] probably via https://matrix.org/docs/projects/bridge/mx-puppet-discord/ [16:28:06] I think the bridge just does IRC usernames for Discord accounts, since I haven't been on IRC in like a decade [16:41:59] Wonder what happens if two users have the same "name" 🤔 [16:46:22] it already suffixes the # tag (just without the #) [16:46:34] and it operates off account name, not nick [16:47:03] (so you show up as Prodigion3714[m] ) [16:47:20] d'oh [16:47:47] I didn't get my tag added [16:48:45] ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ [16:52:32] As it tagged me, I can't be sure, but am I showing up as `Prod`? [16:54:30] No [16:54:50] You are showing up as Prodigion__3714[m] [16:54:54] Prodigion3714[m] [16:54:59] interesting [16:55:11] Without the [16:55:24] so you copy paste that and it tags us on discord?
