[12:23:26] [[Special:CentralAuth/AndNoOneElse]] I came across this account that looks like it belonged to -abigblueworld-, because the username shares a reference to other prior sockpuppets like "LockThisAccountAndMakeTheReasonYouAndNoOneElseOrYouDontKnowHowToModerateAndYoureNotGOOd", "LockmeandMakeTheLockBeYouandNoOneElseorYoureATerribleguy", and "GivemeAf--kingCustomLockReason=LikeYouAndNoOneElseSHouldBeinTheLockReason". Not [12:23:26] https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/AndNoOneElse [12:23:27] sure if AndNoOneElse seems to be related, but it seems strange. [12:27:41] I don't know why the bot is slow as molasses today. [12:38:01] Behaviorally while I see cause to keep an eye out, both the name and the edits do not resemble the typical profile (though of course, anyone with a vague sense of creativity could change the usual profile). The edits are not terrible, but not exactly productive to the particular wikis and take an unusual sample size of Qualitipedia. [12:38:23] I'm not inclined to suggest undoing the local blocks as overly suspicious, but I would be open to appeal if the user is cooperative. [12:39:02] Yeah, I left their talk pages open on multiple wikis. [12:46:12] @raidarr https://rottenwebsites.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=Topic:Wnlhds5uz10gdn5y What was this about? [12:46:26] [url] User talk:SpongeFan | rottenwebsites.miraheze.org [12:48:21] I mistook his edits on GMW as being productive, but early morning brain mistook GMW for AMW I didn't realize that his edits were in fact obviously detrimental to the wiki and thus constituted abuse when considering his edits on CGW and RWW. Therefore the assumption of good faith was ultimately inappropriate, and I deleted the topic as such and proceeded to a lock. [12:48:35] I was probably being too conservative with him in the first place. [12:49:04] I also reviewed the GMW edits in detail and, well, they really weren't that good. [12:53:17] If Doug wishes to inspect further and perhaps correct it though, he's more than free to. SpongeFan's case case is on the boundary. Ultimately what did it was the systemic replacement of headers to inappropriate text (though not strictly extreme), the obvious edits counteracting the wiki's purpose in one case and the fact this was done on three wikis. One was several months ago for which he was blocked on CGW; rather than appeal [12:53:17] or otherwise indicate a will to change, simply proceeded to do the same thing again later (today). I'm willing to discuss with users if there is a redeeming aspect that lets me reasonably conclude they are simply confused, but I'm afraid in this case to do so is simply naive. [13:00:14] For 'AndNoOneElse' though, perhaps it would help to leave a message on the talk page of the wiki they have the most edits on and open the conversation there, giving them direct opportunity to explain themselves and if it's abused, get a better idea of the profile we're looking at since there are indeed long term cases that like to insult and lawyer on talk pages; so at best you have a user who can be reconciled into productive [13:00:15] editing and was very unfortunately coincidental with strange behavior, and at worst you have better evidence of their malicious intent/profile or just have an offering left on the table. [13:02:01] That's a brilliant idea. [17:58:33] [[Special:CentralAuth/Computer2003michael]] sniff sniff I smell a Quarrow sock, mainly from these 2 edits: https://awesomegames.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=Just_Shapes_%26_Beats&diff=prev&oldid=192128 https://crappygames.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=LuoBu&diff=prev&oldid=276520 [17:58:33] https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/Computer2003michael [17:58:33] https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/Computer2003michael [17:58:35] [url] Difference between revisions of "Just Shapes & Beats" - Awesome Games Wiki | awesomegames.miraheze.org [17:58:35] [url] Global account information for Computer2003michael - Miraheze Meta | meta.miraheze.org [17:58:37] [url] Difference between revisions of "LuoBu" - Crappy Games Wiki | crappygames.miraheze.org
