I suspect one of the members on the wiki I admin has created a second account without disclosure, and while they aren't using it for vandalism, they are using it to circumvent personal limits. For context, I take editing requests that I limit to a certain number per day per user, and I suspect this user is using a second account to circ [06:45:33] [2/6] umvent this limit, as well as limits set by other editors taking requests. [06:45:33] [3/6] I've outright asked them if this is their second account, and they've claimed that it isn't, but I've noticed this "new" user sending google docs originating from the same email as the older user, along with other more circumstantial signs (such as similar typing styles and usernames). The older user has also had multiple warnings previously for guideline violations, if that means a [06:45:33] [4/6] nything. [06:45:34] [5/6] We've been trying to handle this as a local issue, but we're unsure about moving forward with admin action just based on suspicion alone, especially when the user is insistent that they aren't sockpuppeting, which is why a CheckUser would be super helpful.
