[00:14:42] With how the Spider-Man movies names are, this is gonna be the next movie [00:14:42] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/615786602454581249/920468876192530442/IMG_7281.jpg [01:17:43] I kinda like that to be honest [01:18:13] By the way, No Way Home has a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes so far! [01:18:18] I am so happy! [01:38:07] Can't say I've heard of it [01:38:36] my wiki request got declined :( [01:38:36] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/615786602454581249/920489989719080990/unknown.png [01:39:53] The Spider-Man one? [01:40:05] You had to have heard of it at some point. The marketing is crazy [01:41:03] See, I'm an expert at filtering out marketing however effective it is :p [01:41:23] But if it's spiderman I know why, I'm extra disinterested in superhero things. Glad they came out with something that's a good pitch, though. [01:41:29] too perfect [01:42:18] I can see what you mean by your disinterest in the superhero genre [01:42:35] The movies are getting quite formulaic nowadays [01:43:01] If it sold me better I could probably work with it, but I burnt out on Marvel, DC and so on very, very quickly [01:43:50] Of course it pays to stick with and milk out the big names, but I'd sooner appreciate a new cast doing their own thing. I'd be the poor man's minority though >.> [01:44:56] I think we need to stop having this much superhero stuff for a while [01:45:14] We have had, like, 4 or 5 new Marvel movies this past year [01:45:28] They'll keep coming until the money stops flowing >.> [01:45:40] I'm getting a bit burnt out myself, though I will see Spider-Man: No Way Home in the movie theater [01:45:55] I've also stopped reading DC comics lately [01:46:17] If it's reviewed that well, it's probably earned a fair shot :p and in spite of the above I can still appreciate a decent movie. [01:46:35] DC has been taking some directions I am not a fan of. Like, at all [01:47:30] I recall DC attempted to break into the multiverse market and did very, very poorly in live action [01:47:49] Yes, what they have been doing in movies has been poor [01:48:02] But it has ben getting better with The Suicide Squad and Joker [01:48:32] My main issue with DC nowadays is they force representation into everything [01:48:45] As a bisexual myself, I find it really, really annoying [01:49:45] Did see Joker, didn't look at Suicide Squad. [01:51:21] I haven't seen Joker yet [01:51:27] I hope it was good [01:53:25] For what it was, I think it was exceedingly decent [01:53:49] It's very much not the usual superhero formula :p [01:54:23] My brother saw the two Deadpools [01:54:37] What I saw was pretty funny, ngl [02:04:44] heh, this scared me [02:04:45] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/615786602454581249/920496568338096228/unknown.png [02:05:00] o.o [02:05:01] turns out I forgot to rename a demo wiki I had [02:05:17] Agent Admin [02:06:00] first order of business: ban 0.0.0.0 [02:06:08] excellent [02:12:13] Lol why am I still getting missed message emails and can still monitor the channels from Element (I can see what is said), even though my matrix account, CosmicAlpha[m] is not even connected to Libera? [02:12:33] Understandable [09:06:14] I never worked w/ site messages/notices - how do I make one? like, when I'll announce migration on fandom, a message at the bottom of the screen w/ link to the blog post will appear for everyone to see [09:07:31] Fandom dislike you doing that [09:08:07] I know, but I'm 90% sure they will close the wiki in the end [09:08:16] https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Moving_a_wiki_to_Miraheze#Exporting_from_Fandom [09:08:17] [url] Moving a wiki to Miraheze - Miraheze Meta | meta.miraheze.org [09:08:38] I know this, I've migrated a wiki [09:09:05] I'm thinking how to reach audience most effectively [09:09:21] Yeah we can't advise on breaching policy [09:15:05] as far as I get, it's just staff members leaving those warning/rules comments, but is that really listed somewhere in site's policies? because I don't remember such [09:29:14] No [09:29:19] I argued a lot with them [12:56:45] I probably woudln't put it at the bottom for starters tbh [13:25:32] I probably misworded it but nevermind, I'm stuck w/ blog post anyway [13:25:53] will try to spread the word tru tumblr, twitter and insta [13:28:47] That sounds like a good lineup for starters [13:29:08] you could make proper mention on the main page and if possible, have a smaller but still prominent message high on the page through a conventional sitenotice if at all possible [21:55:11] Me putting Debian on my Raspberry Pi knowing damn well Raspberry Pi OS is based on Debian [21:56:03] Linux 4 lief [21:56:04] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/615786602454581249/920796372679131176/99F4488E-7F81-496C-8084-E22F150298BB.jpg [22:03:01] miraheze linux when [22:27:19] Bruh why micro sd chips so damn small [22:28:39] I mean the name is micro but [22:28:59] It makes me suffer when I try taking it out T-T [22:37:47] I almost lost my Switch microSD once [22:37:53] Scariest moment of my life [22:58:50] It’s just so annoying how tiny they are [22:59:35] Yeah [22:59:59] I just don’t want to lose my work T-T [23:00:04] Or all of my games [23:00:49] I’m considering dual booting my laptop [23:01:18] That sounds pretty cool [23:01:33] I’m in love with Debian Bullseye [23:03:30] Forgot I named my Debian VM fbivan haha [23:03:53] I wish I could get into debian tbh, but it just hasn't sold [23:04:15] I'm more partial to giving Arch a good run :p perhaps a sort of minimalist self-composed distro built on top. [23:04:44] I’ve heard that arch is pretty good [23:05:05] Man, my PC has nothing like that [23:05:31] Arch is perfect for the right kind of user, typically a very go-getting kind of user who's happy to build their thing. [23:05:54] If not, Manjaro is probably the better bet, as something that is built from Arch to provide a more broad end user experience.
