[00:18:15] made great progress with PI's and Parosoid, kinda understand the whole parsoid thing now [00:18:36] except I can't figure out how you convert wikitext to html LOL [00:22:00] imagine a parsoid tag that lets you call the legacy parser [00:29:42] that kinda sounds like `unsafe { }` in rust lol [00:31:39] :chad: [01:30:38] Parsoid sounds like some very esoteric insult in these kinds of circles [01:34:38] arguing with wiki nerds at a meetup and yelling "Parsoid" as a very mean insult [01:35:46] Hi [01:36:26] Brought back memories of a guy I used to know who unironically called people plebeians [02:12:56] They been working in this and fumbling it in many ways for 13 years. But as of very recently (like last week or two) are starting to go read view to parsoid in some smaller Wikipedia's also. [03:06:55] wooo boy, dev work, wiki queues, tired [03:28:36] I was up till 7 AM and slept in till 10AM last night and up till 6AM to about 8AM the 3 nights before. [03:30:06] :SKULL_SKELETON: [03:30:19] im just chillaxing a bit and working on a hobby, not wiki codebase [03:32:27] YALL made of sterner things than me [03:43:10] No, just sleep deprivation [04:52:19] god, i hate trying to figure out implementation of something and realizing while the data is there, getting it as you want is such a pain its almost not worth it [04:53:45] actually, it may not be that bad [22:59:57] [1/2] Well, I officially made it. I'm making my move from Fandom to Miraheze, since my Discord server had been prodding me on this for the past several months (plus, it had been a general topic stuck in my head), and I'm officially making the move by uploading the full database soon. I have the full 1.2 gigs of what is the wiki on my laptop, followed by the assets as well because [22:59:57] [2/2] that was not included in the dump for copyright reasons. I'll be uploading them myself, since I have the original copies on my laptop.
