[03:31:45] footer button issue is fixed [03:32:24] though it did have the side effect of some buttons now being to the right f the copyright button, wheres before they were to the left [03:32:30] of* [05:47:41] Does anyone have time to look into https://issue-tracker.miraheze.org/T13658 ? [05:47:46] I imagine it can't be fun to have your search not working [05:47:52] and disabling CS still leaves it broken [07:04:14] Did you run the rebuild search index? [07:05:49] ugh, bloody yubikey 5c nfc + linux bug [07:05:57] i'll try https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/mediawiki/extensions/CirrusSearch/+/refs/heads/master/README#162 tbh [07:07:27] [1/33] ``` [07:07:27] [2/33] Updating cluster ... [08:01:42] i wanna document https://issue-tracker.miraheze.org/T13658#273882 lol [08:02:12] suspicion: it happens when enabling: https://issue-tracker.miraheze.org/T13277#266442 [08:02:20] fixed btw [08:02:49] Thanks @blankeclair ! [08:03:15] Everything should have a runbook in Tech [08:03:37] [1/2] couldn't find [[Tech:CirrusSearch]] or [[Tech:OpenSearch]] [08:03:38] [2/2] ig i could check to see if [[Tech:ElasticSearch]] exists [08:03:39] [1/3] [08:03:39] [2/3] [08:03:39] [3/3] [08:03:53] Exactly [08:03:54] Should [08:03:58] touche [08:04:04] should i make one then? [08:04:18] Yes [08:12:40] https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Tech:CirrusSearch [08:49:50] I documented that once in a draft but I think I forgot to publish it and it was in my old userspace that got purged lol [08:56:11] old userspace? [08:56:47] My old account was vanished. [08:56:50] ah [08:57:01] [bruh](https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1057461680575098890.webp?size=48&name=bruh) [09:31:17] if i want a php-based base64 encoder in lua, is it better if i try to upstream it, or to put it in LocalWiki.php [09:57:28] Upstream [12:03:01] Taken by the shadow people. [13:36:30] the temptation to make a sisters of dorley joke [19:27:04] @paladox any idea what is generating all the logs in graylog [19:27:16] Or anyone else in @Technology Team [19:27:37] I've been looking at that today. [19:27:43] It's been way up for the last few weeks and it's gone critical again [19:31:01] I found a couple days ago that there was an incident awhile ago (not extremely recent) that generated over 100 million logs but that is all I found so far. That was due to my ManageWiki changes having a bug that was patched almost immediately but it caused many logs on every single request. I didn't realize it spammed it so much though. [19:31:32] Generating still looks higher than normal though [19:31:51] I purged the oldest 2 indexes like 30 hours ago [19:31:54] It's critical again [19:32:01] That's not good at all [19:32:08] Yeah I know... it's very odd though... [19:32:23] something is causing logspam [19:32:28] Not sure what [19:33:07] I can clear some more indexes to give us breathing room if you want @cosmicalpha but we probably need to find the cause soon [19:33:18] I'm gonna see if I can add a graylog dashboard with a count metric to find the most common repeating logs. [19:33:29] Ok [19:33:54] I'm not 100% sure if it'll work if not maybe Grafana will give some insight? [19:35:07] I haven't seen anything obvious [19:35:12] But I haven't looked hard [19:35:17] Haven't got the time for a deep dive [19:45:21] @rhinosf1 FYI I changed ToggleExtension again so the argument for the extension name is no --name not --ext anymore so it works with mwscript again.
