[03:27:35] Noooooooo kai [14:41:46] I have been tasked in moving our Miraheze Wiki pages to an alternate Wiki Host.  They are in need of our SSH Login Credentials which I do not have knowledge of.  What is the way to seek that information from the Miraheze techical staff. [14:44:41] I think whatever guide you are looking at it assuming you host your own wiki, not that you use a wiki game [14:44:46] farm* [14:44:54] We don’t give out SSH credentials to our servers [14:46:40] skye actually gives out free ssh credentials as long as you let her use the homobeam [14:47:26] I would say I’d bring that to HR but now that she’s on the board [14:52:18] GaryBell: what issue are you specifically facing? You can get a backup of all the content in XML form via Special:DataDump on the Miraheze wiki and then import it at your destination via the importDump.php maintenance script. [14:52:53] You can also use grabbers (https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Grabbers) which don't require any involvement from us [14:55:21] oop nvm that was Weird Gloop's grabbers: https://github.com/weirdgloop/mediawiki-tools-grabbers [14:59:52] Skye I will pass along this information to the wiki administrator and see if that this process described will meet their need versus obtaining SSH login credentials - I'm the no techical project manager for this migration.. [15:03:48] That’s fair [15:04:10] they left the irc channel fyi [15:04:22] Gotcha [15:04:25] Ty Skye [15:04:31] but please do know that we don't give out SSH access period. [15:04:39] if they need something ask for specifics and we can deliver [15:05:37] Was going to say that before you said they left lol, we can provide assistance and guidance to help with the move but SSH access is a nonstarter [16:44:43] i couldn't find a reliable way to determine if it was a false positive or not [16:45:57] well [16:46:13] its more of im unsure if the methods i used correctly determined it [16:47:12] What did you try [16:49:27] meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:ManageWiki/core/ or .miraheze.org/wikitide.org [16:49:51] the first one would work yes [16:49:57] The ManageWiki/core one should work [16:50:20] I think there may be an API equiv [16:50:30] or you can parse the html [16:50:56] so if anything shows up it means it exists and shouldnt be touched [16:51:29] yes [16:51:55] i would say include marked as deleted as well but due process still allows for undeletion so [16:53:14] in the phorge task theres wiki names like mywiki requestwiki semanticmediawiki [16:53:39] those dont appear when when querying with managewiki/core [16:53:42] but they sound important [16:57:22] petra's script is stupid and doesn't know differentiate between userrights and wikis in the case of requestwiki [16:59:03] for mywiki look at the context and semanticmediawiki is an extension [16:59:16] i know smw is an extension!!! [17:00:34] do you want me to confirm your conclusion [17:00:58] i will try again when i am home [17:01:05] and just push whatever ive got [17:01:30] how do i refresh a fork [17:01:39] google was no help so i keep deleting and reforking [17:02:00] you what [17:02:07] you just.... make another commit..? [17:02:17] no like [17:02:26] i commit into my fork of the repo right [17:02:32] then pr [17:03:02] 🍴 [17:03:12] oh right someone silly merged the first one [17:16:05] https://tenor.com/view/cat-curious-cat-sniffing-cat-investigating-cat-cute-cat-gif-7346632064287981595 [17:18:22] [1/2] I gave as an example. darkangelwiki does not have a .miraheze.org subdomain but still exists, italianbrainrotwiki is deleted but still exists, notexistingwiki does not exist. T [17:18:23] [2/2] he API result accurately reflects the existence of all 3 wikis [17:18:31] not inherently wrong but I don't like merging only part of the cake when not necessary [17:19:11] I was trying to maximise dopamine [17:19:24] based [19:29:30] @thewwrnerdguy hi [19:29:32] [19:29:34] is this ok [19:29:51] before i pr and embarrass myself [19:37:01] [1/2] nothing to do with you but wtf is discord syntax highlighting doing [19:37:02] [2/2] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1006789349498699827/1519063752832712795/image.png?ex=6a3c31dd&is=6a3ae05d&hm=e6cd1a17bc4668f5e1d984df53332a5381043755decf5132e4d8902bbf2afd95& [19:38:10] it's a lot easier to comment on a PR than with screenshots on discord, don't worry about embarassing yourself on a PR [19:38:19] [1/2] this looks like an error [19:38:19] [2/2] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1006789349498699827/1519064079195574455/image.png?ex=6a3c322b&is=6a3ae0ab&hm=df249cede2ffcc889bf6f7622e33670c37af6be7ac99b58437f0d32c6c1d960d& [19:47:15] okay i did pr [19:47:47] seems i fucked something [19:48:49] if you've done local development you can run `composer test` to check [19:56:04] I've added a comment :) [20:24:59] there is an infinite amount of things to download [20:25:01] to get this to work [20:26:46] I mean technically all you need is a text editor and a github account [20:27:14] `composer test` just means you can catch the issues on your local machine before opening a PR, which saves time [20:40:07] getting composer to work fuckin g sucks [21:20:43] windows skill issue ngl [21:21:45] i couldnt get it to work [21:40:24] I got it to work on wsl so... [21:40:46] it doesn't work if you're trying to run linux in a windows directory [21:41:00] nah he deleted in a place that fucked composer up and i reminded him he is not french [21:41:07] as in he might try again tomorrow [21:41:10] i believe in him [21:42:18] when it comes to the word "french" in relation to deleting stuff there's only one thing I can tink of [21:50:22] i was thinking in relation of giving up [21:50:39] the french never give up [21:50:55] have you seen them whenever the government proposes a minor inconvenience [22:00:43] actually you know what i should switch my take on that [22:00:51] i reminded him he is not american [22:01:36] (afghanistan and iran called) [23:15:53] I know some very stubborn Americans
