[02:57:13] How do I remove the wiki/ part from the url? [02:59:12] You can make a request on [[SR/RC]] [02:59:14] [11:43:40] thanks [18:26:31] I notice in https://commons.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:AllPages that there are a lot of Flow topics even though Flow isn't supported on the wiki. Are there any plans to convert these into regular talk page threads? [18:33:15] We did the conversion when we disabled flow for everyone. Commons disabled it earlier, so none of the automated conversion took place. [18:33:58] It might be worth going through the wikis that still have Topic pages [18:35:27] Personally I don't want to touch Flow after doing the conversion for the 1.45 upgrade. [18:36:22] It'll probably require us to install Flow, enable it on commons, and then recover all the scripts we used to perform the conversion. [18:42:16] [1/3] I'm testing Citizen on Mirabeta right now and will upgrade later today if everything goes well. [18:42:16] [2/3] For some reason after updating mediawiki-repos and running `sudo puppet agent -tv` when I execute [18:42:17] [3/3] `mwdeploy --upgrade-skins=Citizen --servers=test151 --versions=all` it still deploys the older version of Citizen. [18:45:08] that some reason is needing to run `sudo puppet agent -tv` on puppet181 first [18:47:18] iirc there weren't many important conversations on Commons user talk pages. Might be easier just to nuke them on-wiki and undelete them manually as needed [18:52:54] Oh I see. I guess puppet181 needs to pull from GitHub first. [18:53:45] I don't have access to I'll just wait past 3pm then. [19:16:04] I've never liked the fact that mediawiki-repos changes are dependant on something mw can't run [22:51:43] I wonder if we could allow `mediawiki-admins` to run puppet on puppet181 (but not do anything else); it's also required to deploy security patches, and without access it may slow the process down [22:55:49] I mean I dont see why not, back in the day ssl-admins were granted access to puppet servers to do SSL stuff, I think mw-admins could be granted access to pupet to run puppet. [22:59:03] I guess from a security standpoint, one downside could be that if there's a privilege escalation somewhere, it's technically possible for mw-admins to get access to all servers [23:02:30] I think the risk of that is fairly low
