[02:52:46] Oh ok thx. [02:53:01] I think I could be back editing the wiki less then 2 months then I could updated all the pages [09:09:41] https://phabricator.miraheze.org/T8072 - Test rsync speed with other parameters, authored by RhinosF1, assigned to RhinosF1, Priority: High, Status: Open [09:09:42] https://phabricator.miraheze.org/T8031 - php-fpm does not restart cleanly post OOM, authored by RhinosF1, assigned to None, Priority: High, Status: Open [11:25:26] If Mazzaz is on discord will someone ping them and tell them that points to the page it's on not if transclude did [11:26:08] You'd need to mark CN for transclusion and enable transclusion aware [14:18:12] @mazzaz [14:49:52] That I have enabled now [15:04:25] But it doesn't work. When I change the language of meta into Urdu, its (CN) translation doesn't show up [15:15:46] Is the header marked for translation? [15:15:57] I thought it was demarked [15:16:46] Yes it is [20:05:34] I got someone who is IP banned from being able to edit on our wiki due to "web hosts or proxies", is there anyway to unban them for that? i am clueless on it [20:05:43] Couldnt find anything about it in the FAQs [20:06:36] If they have an account but can't edit, I believe you can issue a local exemption via Special:GlobalBlockWhitelist on your wiki [20:10:04] Thank you! i'll give it a go [20:19:42] They're saying they cant even login in to their account atm. So once they're added to the Whitelist would they be able to login and then edit? [20:20:17] do they get an error when logging in? [20:25:13] They're a normal incorrect details message, despite confirming their details are correct [20:25:14] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/435711390544560128/891782484172341269/unknown.png [20:26:27] The web host / proxy warning message comes up whenever they try to make a new account, which is how they know its tied to that [20:26:48] They believe it was caused by using a VPN at the time [20:30:40] A global block will never cause someone's account to display an "Incorrect username or password" error, it will transparently state that the IP has been globally blocked [20:31:24] If they can't make an account, you yourself can create one for them at Special:CreateAccount and have MediaWiki send them the password to this new account [20:31:29] You know what I think? It's likely due to a password change or the password might be incorrect. [20:41:31] I thought the same, but its the fact they're told they're blocked for a web host / proxy upon trying to make a new account that makes me believe it isnt due to their details being incorrect [20:41:42] I'll give it a go [20:41:53] Typically also even if the proxy is blocked from account creation, it isn't blocked from login [20:48:53] Alright, thanks for the help, i'll go through all the above
