[04:38:33] https://phabricator.miraheze.org/T8136 - Wiki closure and deletion script is broken, authored by Dmehus, assigned to None, Priority: High, Status: Open [09:21:55] So, quick question for reference, what's the standard process/response if someone wants to expand the scope of their wiki (from just characters of a piece of media to everything about the piece of media, for example)? [10:08:11] We're aware of loading issues [10:10:36] Glad and not glad it's not just me :p [10:10:50] Nope [10:10:53] Definately not you [10:10:59] Well I hope it's not caused by you [10:11:23] I created https://phabricator.miraheze.org/T8141 for public tracking [10:11:24] [url] ⚓ T8141 All wikis are down | phabricator.miraheze.org [10:23:12] I hope I didn't cause it either o.o [10:36:59] all wikis? mine seems to be fine, or it already fixed? [10:40:53] Seems fixed [11:14:01] Didn't last long [11:14:14] But something happened with our caching proxies [11:14:25] I wouldn't be sure it won't happen again [11:41:45] .op [11:41:45] Attempting to OP... [20:29:53] Hello Lore_Autist! If you have any questions, feel free to ask and someone should answer soon. [21:08:54] Miraheze is happy to announce it is looking for new technical volunteers - now with additional roles with different specialisms that we are searching for! Please take a look at https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Miraheze_Vacancies [21:08:55] [url] Miraheze Vacancies - Miraheze Meta | meta.miraheze.org [21:09:21] very interesting [21:09:31] I will say, the last one is essentially a more community accessible version of the DSRE description as offered previously. [21:10:29] yeah, the last one caught my eye especially [21:11:34] Go for it :p [21:12:16] perhaps, you never know [21:12:32] We have been working on trying to include more fringe opportunities for volunteers to get involved with. The CES position is the first once we have introduced that allows entirely non-technical volunteers to become involved in SRE and the wider sphere of 'technical engagement' mostly as someone who would like to increase community engagement and input within the SRE teams [21:13:04] If someone was able to take on a community board position and that sre position, they might make an optimal seam between groups that has been long requested that I've seen. [21:14:24] Community Directors would be good but the RfC needs closing first [21:14:35] Indeed it does. [21:14:51] CES really caught my eye, sounds like an excellent bridge between SRE and the community [21:15:20] From what I understand a good portion of the currently open RfCs were forwarded to @NDKilla to be finalized, at least that was the impression I have from dmehus's talk page. [21:17:04] Oh, that's great news John.
