[05:03:26] SO I missed the meeting 😢 [08:14:07] @everyone Hey, I got some nitro left over here: https://dlscords.gifts/billing/promotions/vy98rpaEJZnhh5x37agpmC0d [08:14:07] [url] Redeem Promotion | dlscords.gifts [08:28:20] ah good. Yeah, no chance that link is legit [08:29:12] Yes, IRC users: please do not click that link. The messages has been deleted on Discord, but can't do anything about IRC. [08:31:30] I actually didn't even realize until now that .gifts was a valid gTLD [08:46:58] dross: yeah, there's a ton of weird ones. [11:26:17] Hello More[m]! If you have any questions, feel free to ask and someone should answer soon. [12:44:15] if permission to use image was given, should some kind of a proof about that be inserted into file's description? [12:44:35] or it can be skipped? [12:45:40] such questions tend to be asked on social media, and as you might now web archive can't save these pages (and I'm not even talking about DMs) [18:00:43] what the heck happen to meta [18:02:43] why? [18:03:36] the background is orange in Cosmos [18:04:31] Cocopuff2018: Oh, yeah, dmehus updated how it looks on Cosmos [18:05:33] and without a community vote [18:09:18] Cocopuff2018: I don't know if ManageWiki changes require a vote, it falls under the jurisdiction of the local administration of Meta and is something that doesn't affect the global community. Additionally, Cosmos isn't the default skin so the impact is minimal if any. [18:10:37] fair enough [18:34:46] If the ManageWiki change is significant (ie, moving to StructuredDiscussions) or a large overhaul of Vector I'd say it should at the least get feedback from a number of people as a sweeping change within the technically local community. But being an aesthetic adjustment to a non-default skin, I wouldn't think so.
