[00:50:39] Naleksuh: although I’m not the best with business topics, it is hard work. Since it doesn’t use ads, the only profit that it would get, would be from donations [00:51:02] That's common knowledge [00:51:07] I meant more like details etc [00:51:12] Ah [00:51:21] Welp I won’t be helpful with that :P [00:54:26] But yeah, it especially hard, when you need to pay for stuff (SSL certs, domain name, etc). [00:55:09] It’s a miracle that MH is still running [00:56:35] Really it is hard work [01:03:02] Made possible by contributions to Miraheze from users like you. Thank you. :P [01:03:19] PBS kids be like [01:03:26] And the right attention, opportunity and patronage don't hurt. [01:03:35] Things only really kick off when they reach the right sets of eyes. [01:04:51] My 1st accepted wiki was by Doug [13:13:39] Hey guyz [18:40:21] Naleksuh: yo [19:27:07] Wait, WC’s creating themselves wiki has been allowed? [19:28:00] Never understood why though, I feel like although they have the rights, they still should be subject to peer review. [19:51:22] It's always been allowed [20:32:04] I do think a degree of peer review would be a nice precedence tbh [21:44:50] We need to kill this page sooner than later [[Infoboxes]] [21:44:50] https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Infoboxes [21:44:50] https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Infoboxes [21:44:51] [url] Infoboxes - Miraheze Meta | meta.miraheze.org [21:44:53] Or fix, asap [21:45:13] Still atrocious, and now apparently someone used it according to the CN [22:33:41] Deleted @raidarr [22:44:43] I'm attempting to scrape together a redraft which proposes a few options (portable infobox, the cross-wiki sanitized version of wikipedia infoboxes, from miraheze and so forth). Unfortunately, forcing myself to write never really works, so that will take a bit >.< [23:03:29] I will say though, the page might have worked as well if moved to YellowFrogger's sandbox as its principle developer, which would help reduce the impression it is offered from the collective when in the userspace. [23:03:50] As well as allow him to at least get that bit of information straight even if something more diverse is actually posted to the live link. [23:04:14] The only sentence on that page that was any sense was that infoboxes are tricky [23:05:07] I will admit, the article's future with the content in place did strike me as 'lipstick on a pig' [23:05:48] I just wish we had a page that would get it right tbh, and doesn't have to link off to fandom in the case of PI. Unfortunately I'm very weak on them myself.
