[16:03:27] <.vermin_supreme84> [1/2] Hello everyone! I have started together with some other people a wiki and have been struggling with modifying existing templates. Specifically with https://dev.miraheze.org/wiki/Template:Information for files. I have managed somewhat with having the info display as I which and what not but I must have cut some important code or something here https://coolshields.miraheze.or [16:03:27] <.vermin_supreme84> [2/2] g/wiki/Template:EHInformation since it doesn't display as an info box with blue on the on the right like my other picture shows. Does anyone happen to know what I did wrong? [16:15:07] do you have TemplateStyles extension? you're missing this https://dev.miraheze.org/wiki/Template:Information/style.css [16:15:56] <.vermin_supreme84> Ah! No I do not. Do I add that as a /doc? [16:19:18] just as a Template:Information/style.css page, the template is already trying to load that, so you'd need to create that page, and enable the TemplateStyles extension if you don't have it yet [16:41:50] <.vermin_supreme84, replying to chimecrime> Thank you! That seems to have fixed it. Though for some reason it left these symbols at the end. [16:44:06] <.vermin_supreme84> [1/2] But for the template it wants "Page Module:XXXXXX/styles.css must have content model "Sanitized CSS" for TemplateStyles (current model is "plain text")." I found Reddit post talking about which led me here https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:ChangeContentModel and it said one could go to Special:ChangeContentModel but I can't access it since I am not an administrator on Me [16:44:06] <.vermin_supreme84> [2/2] dia wiki only on my wiki. [16:44:46] that's this part. remove those symbols and move the /noinclude tag after the category [16:44:49] Special:ChangeContentModel on your wiki [16:59:09] <.vermin_supreme84, replying to tali64> Ah didn't realise that it was available on my own wiki. Thanks! [17:00:33] <.vermin_supreme84> Again thank you all now so much! Everything seems to be working! I have some other things I am wondering about but will first try to solve them myself before I come back here. Cheers! [17:56:42] what is the typical wait time on a custom URL? [18:15:30] Normally it'd be a few days, but given the lack of tech volunteers at the moment I'd say it'd take a few weeks currently [18:16:14] oof [18:16:18] all good though [18:16:33] If I start editing my wiki pages, will those pages get moved to the new URL? [18:17:06] like X.miraheze.org/wiki/page_1 will become X.com/wiki/page_1? [18:21:33] Yes [18:21:59] @shummg You need to /auth to post links [18:22:11] thanks [20:51:24] Someone vandalized the Spectruls wiki. I can't even look at it rn, is there anyone here who is comfortable with very extreme and realistic gore able to revert it? I think I'm going to throw up I got jumpscared so badly... [20:52:42] I'm serious about the gore too, I'm usually fine with gore but that was too much and very realistic so please be careful and only check it is you are really good with extreme and realistic gore [21:00:37] I think it would be more visible in cvt channel [21:05:03] hopefully that gets resolved soon :o [23:15:26] If you want to DM me a link to affect pages, I can revert for you [23:17:22] I see it was performed already [23:25:37] Yeah, but offers like that are appreciated [23:28:53] yeah feel free to ping me
