[00:58:08] Is the friction rooted in having to use a separate tool or that it requires php? [17:46:45] The friction mostly stems from a combination of those and the fact that it's very finnicky / buggy. I had a case of a contributor I wanted to help set up arc and we ran into:... And that contributors already get annoyed when they are confronted with necessary things like linters and unit tests. But the fact that arc is so difficult to set up and the documentation so sparse makes it sand in the gears of a project [20:05:13] Yeah, the friction with phabricator is large for open-source/infrequent contributors. [21:05:32] And yet, the amount of friction something like Github imposes on maintainers is gigantic. I really miss the fact that I can commandeer a diff when there's issues.
