[04:55:34] hi everyone. I am planning to make a tool. can anyone here guide me with initial steps or share a link which i can follow to achieve the goal. [06:36:29] @Tenzin_Dhakar: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Portal:Toolforge [10:25:51] !log tools shut down tools-harbor-1 (no longer used) [10:25:54] Logged the message at https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Nova_Resource:Tools/SAL [12:55:00] “ERROR: failed to initialize analyzer: validating registry write access: ensure registry read/write access to tools-harbor.wmcloud.org/tool-commonsdb-registry/tool-commonsdb-registry:latest” [12:55:10] how sure are we that tools-harbor-1 really was unused? 😅 [12:55:54] (context: https://lists.wikimedia.org/hyperkitty/list/wikitech-l@lists.wikimedia.org/thread/KFYHJLLVYAOUSPKGPPRTOXTREYX5NSIR/, I just thought I’d mention it here especially as that log message looks semi-related) [12:56:28] oh, if that's an issue it's a bad issue, looking [12:57:03] thanks :) [12:57:54] for me tools-harbor.wmlcoud.org works (and points to the correct one), so not the worst case xd [13:00:01] yep, something is wrong, looking, I htink it's permissions of the robot accounts that got reverted or similar, Raymond_Ndibe [13:00:07] (cc. Raymond_Ndibe ) [13:05:38] !status toolforge builds not working [13:06:58] !status toolforge builds not working (T402923) [13:06:58] T402923: [builds-service] builds not working due to access issues in tools - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T402923 [13:42:03] !log tools extended object storage quota to 100G (T402923) [13:42:11] Logged the message at https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Nova_Resource:Tools/SAL [13:42:12] T402923: [builds-service] builds not working due to access issues in tools - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T402923 [13:46:04] !status ok [20:15:07] I have updated the code to two tools and I notice the tools are not actually being updated on toolforge (changes don't reflect) [20:15:08] agpg.toolforge.org and wdtmcollab-api.toolforge.org [20:15:10] I don't understand why, especially for the agpb tool which was working fine this morning. [20:15:11] Both repos are https://gitlab.wikimedia.org/toolforge-repos/agpb and https://gitlab.wikimedia.org/toolforge-repos/wdtmcollab-api respectively. [20:31:25] @Xvansic: it looks like you figured out what changed in both repos? [20:32:38] I have seen and error for wdtmcollab-api which I just fixed now, for agpb I am trying to debug. that issue. (re @wmtelegram_bot: @Xvansic: it looks like you figured out what changed in both repos?) [21:41:20] hello! I wanted to check about https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T402836 and how feasible it is to get that new VM. Alternatively, if not feaisble, we could work around and write scripts to switch between different databases and schedule different runs on different dbs at different times. But, that is extra developer work and coordination which we can avoid with a separate VM. [21:53:23] subbu: that should be fine, you can just make a quota request with specific numbers here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/profile/2880/ [21:54:31] okay, thanks!
