[15:04:42] Is there by chance going to be a hackathon train (from around Germany) to Athens, perhaps including a ferry from Bari to Greece? [15:05:44] I am indeed travelling by train, but so far I don’t know of anyone else :) [16:14:08] That might be enough to get the ball rolling! (re @lucaswerkmeister: I am indeed travelling by train, but so far I don’t know of anyone else :)) [19:40:44] Greece doesn’t really have a well developed train infrastructure and it’s not really connected with the rest of Europe. Probably better luck with something like Eurolines (re @tuukkahastrup: Is there by chance going to be a hackathon train (from around Germany) to Athens, perhaps including a ferry from Bari to Greece?) [20:15:06] The Bari ferry is probably your most rail friendly route (according to Seat61/other rail nerds) - the international trains are still not running again, and the coaches I could find to a local station train station from North Macedonia/Bulgaria take you to Thessaloniki. [20:15:55] yeah, I’m taking the Bari/Patras ferry [20:25:17] About 17 hours or something, isn't it? [20:37:14] more or less yeah
