[06:10:06] Help! I can’t still solve this and got stuck for days (re @cvictorovich: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/FlaggedRevs/+/979195) [09:12:53] I'm excited to announce the release of the first experimental version of the Adiutor extension. Adiutor is a MediaWiki extension designed for moderating, triaging, and maintaining content tasks on Wikipedia. This new extension is now available for testing on your local server's MediaWiki software. I warmly invite you to try it out and explore its features. Your feedback is invalu [09:12:54] able to the development process, as it will help us refine and enhance the extension's capabilities. Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of this innovative journey and contribute to its development. [09:12:56] [09:12:57] https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Adiutor [10:23:46] Didn’t you release it before? [10:24:04] hello! I have a very technical issue regarding categories. [10:24:05] [10:24:06] The astronomical object UGC 100 is the same as the astronomical object NGC 21. So a redirect from UGC to NGC is possible and interesting: https://eu.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=UGC_100&redirect=no [10:24:08] [10:24:09] As the object UGC 100 is part of that catalogue, I should categorize UGC 100 as part of , and it will insert the REDIRECT page in the category in italics, what is great. [10:24:11] [10:24:12] But the object NGC 21, which is exactly the same as UGC 100 is excluded from being in the category "UGC objects" if I see the categories in the article, because that would cause redundance in . Anyway, NGC 21 is actually an UGC object, but there is labelled UGC 100 [10:24:14] [10:24:15] Ok, this is quite messy. But... is there a way to include NGC 21 in so the category is shown in the bottom of the article but not showing it/hiding it in the category page itself, in order to avoid redundance? [10:24:17] But it would be able to be deployed [10:31:43] my solution for this would be javascript. In a template, have something like `UGC objects` and in a javascript somewhere (gadget/common.js), do something like `$( '.fake-category a' ).each( function() { $( this ).appendTo( '#mw-normal-catlinks ul' ).wrap( '
• ' ); } );` (re @Galder: hello! I have a very technical issue [10:31:44] regarding categories. [10:31:45] [10:31:47] The astronomical object UGC 100 is the same as the astronomical obj...) [10:32:38] interesting [10:39:16] the best part is that IT WORKS [10:39:28] 😁 [10:40:18] you should add `style="display:none;"` to the span in the template, btw, i forgot to include that [10:42:41] not needed [12:36:16] Hello everyone. Does the hackathon scholarship also cover visa? [12:36:46] I need a visa to travel Estonia [13:40:47] nerim4n: See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Hackathon_2024/Participate#Scholarships which mentions visa [13:59:33] thank you [14:28:18] Hi!
