[08:04:58] Hi, has anyone dealt with Kartographer? [08:13:00] ... in what capacity? (re @Burkalll: Hi, has anyone dealt with Kartographer?) [08:28:36] Only as a user. (re @Burkalll: Hi, has anyone dealt with Kartographer?) [08:29:09] i mean extension to create a map on the wiki using OpenStreetMap. I can't get it to display correctly (re @jhsoby: ... in what capacity?) [10:05:47] Not even if you copy one of the examples? https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Extension:Kartographer (re @Burkalll: Hi, has anyone dealt with Kartographer?) [10:06:06] Not even if you copy one of the examples? https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Extension:Kartographer (re @Burkalll: i mean extension to create a map on the wiki using OpenStreetMap. I can't get it to display correctly) [10:08:24] i know what Kartographer is and does; my question is about how and where you are having trouble using it? On a Wikimedia wiki, or on a third-party wiki? Are you having trouble displaying maps or installing the extension? Or are you perhaps a developer trying to fix something and having a hard time making sense of something? (re @Burkalll: i mean extension to create a map on the w [10:08:25] iki using OpenStreetMap. I can't get it to display correctly) [10:25:50] Not all the wikis use the same versions and there are significant differences between them. (re @Jan_ainali: Not even if you copy one of the examples? https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Extension:Kartographer) [10:26:18] I'm aware of important differences between ENvoy and ESvoy, for example. [12:25:05] @Susannaanas Will some kind of shared accommodation be provided for the Glam + AI Sauna event or can we start to find an hotel by ourselves? [14:05:43] I'm having trouble displaying the map on a third party, proprietary wiki (re @jhsoby: i know what Kartographer is and does; my question is about how and where you are having trouble using it? On a Wikimedia wiki, o...) [14:08:48] Sorry, but what is it? (re @IsmaelOlea: I'm aware of important differences between ENvoy and ESvoy, for example.) [14:13:31] these two different versions not share the same template semantics/features. (re @Burkalll: Sorry, but what is it?) [14:17:10] How can I check which one I need? (re @IsmaelOlea: these two different versions not share the same template semantics/features.) [14:20:21] check the extension installed in your wiki and read the included doc of that version. (re @Burkalll: How can I check which one I need?) [14:24:25] okay (re @IsmaelOlea: check the extension installed in your wiki and read the included doc of that version.) [15:35:38] We do not have resources for arranging accommodation, and everyone is free to choose the most suitable available accommodation. The events take place in the city centre https://maps.app.goo.gl/gyqEASe34ucfe1wj6 and https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZFeePC367Pc3faEV7 on the first day and https://maps.app.goo.gl/8cWsshTpcPvvcW7k9 on the second day. The recommended ferry with the nearby termi [15:35:38] nal is https://maps.app.goo.gl/1X9He8ZPpxPP3MmdA (re @ferdi2005: @Susannaanas Will some kind of shared accommodation be provided for the Glam + AI Sauna event or can we start to find an hotel b...) [15:40:57] I could prepare a page for affordable accommodation and other options. (re @Susannaanas: We do not have resources for arranging accommodation, and everyone is free to choose the most suitable available accommodation. ...) [15:56:18] Thank you! [17:11:30] From which URL do you load the map tiles? (re @Burkalll: I'm having trouble displaying the map on a third party, proprietary wiki) [17:22:37] Hallo [17:22:48] I've dealt with branches other than master or main on gerrit. [17:23:09] There are these two patches on a branch: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/q/project:labs%252Ftools%252FIsa+branch:m2c+status:merged [17:24:19] What has to be done to merge them to the main branch? Or at least start the process, so that someone will review it? [17:47:42] https://www.openstreetmap.org i guess (re @malyacko: From which URL do you load the map tiles?) [18:25:41] And what if you don't guess? (re @Burkalll: https://www.openstreetmap.org i guess) [18:46:50] @amire80: Either the m2c branch needs to be merged into the main branch, or those 2 commits need to be cherry-picked to the main branch. If the merge is done as fast-forward only with no merge commit these two methods would ultimately do the same work. The cherry-picks can be fairly trivially done via the kabob menu in the upper right on the existing Gerrit patches. [19:25:01] I think this is it (re @malyacko: And what if you don't guess?) [19:26:05] I installed Extension Maps and Composer [19:26:13] So do you know for sure, or do you only think you know? [19:26:37] Does anything block you from checking it? [19:26:49] But error : https://tools-static.wmflabs.org/bridgebot/4c50e39b/file_57392.jpg [19:27:31] Sorry i answer later (re @malyacko: Does anything block you from checking it?) [21:55:45] Which docs (URL) did you follow to install? [22:26:26] Hello everyone 🤗 [23:21:54] i download extension from github (re @malyacko: Which docs (URL) did you follow to install?)
