I’m trying to help my good friend and our fellow Wikimedian, Raed, leave the increasingly dangerous West Bank and take up his place at a university in Europe. [14:01:22] Raed grew up in a refugee camp in Palestine, I was lucky enough to meet him on a course in Italy last year, it was the first time he had ever been outside of the military occupation. [14:01:24] He is a photographer and shares his images on Commons, I think he was the largest single contributor to Wiki Loves Monuments Palestine this year, sharing 100s of photos.
