[09:25:02] Is there any way to change the suggedted paged in the bottom of an article? We have a biography where the suggested pages are very problematic for the person itself. Is there any way to change it? [12:56:08] Does anyone know if there's a tool or another way to find registered users whose name _contains_ a certain string? When searching for an admin's username, I came across a defamatory username starting with that admin's name (think "AdminFoo loves Richard", except using a nickname for Richard and also much more graphic). This led me to do a search for several other [12:56:08] admin's username [12:56:09] s as well, and I uncovered 30+ usernames with a similar pattern. Presumably all of them were created by the same LTA. [12:56:10] Now, the problem is: I was only able to find usernames that _began_ with those admins' usernames. But it is not at all unlikely that the LTA also created usernames like "Richard is loved by AdminFoo", but I don't know of an easy way to find those (to report so they can be locked & hidden). Does anyone know of a way? [13:01:10] I would go for Quarry for this. But perhaps there are tools already focused on usernames that may fill this use case better, not sure. (re @jhsoby: Does anyone know if there's a tool or another way to find registered users whose name contains a certain string? When searching ...) [13:02:54] SELECT * from actor WHERE actor.actor_name LIKE '%Richard%' limit 1000; [13:49:14] though that also leaves a permanent record of the query results in quarry, which might not be ideal in this context [13:49:52] if you have toolforge access, you can run the query from the `sql` command there instead [14:05:46] are query results from previous runs findable somehow? If I use one query, modify it to check a different name, then run it again? (re @lucaswerkmeister: though that also leaves a permanent record of the query results in quarry, which might not be ideal in this context) [14:06:57] i'm not too worried about that to be honest, quarry is such a niche thing that "no-one" knows about. Much less discoverable than usernames in Special:ListUsers, i'd say [14:17:35] yes, see e.g. https://quarry.wmcloud.org/history/96639 (re @jhsoby: are query results from previous runs findable somehow? If I use one query, modify it to check a different name, then run it agai...)
