[11:10:10] Good morning all. I'm just dropping this here: T429773 TL;DR - we need another couple of IP address pools for dse-k8s-eqiad, plus a plan for future growth. [11:10:10] T429773: Calico IPv4/IPv6 block exhaustion on dse-k8s cluster, blocking new node provisioning - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T429773 [12:53:07] very interesting [12:53:13] also o/ [12:53:23] do you know how wikikube got around the limitation? [13:15:08] ok TIL https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T375845 [13:57:00] btullis: how urgent is T429773 ? [13:57:01] T429773: Calico IPv4/IPv6 block exhaustion on dse-k8s cluster, blocking new node provisioning - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T429773 [14:00:09] XioNoX: Not super-urgent, to be honest. [14:02:20] I was just looking to see if `kube_proxy` could be made to work with more than one CIDR per v4/v6 family. But it seems like it can't, or you might all have done this before. [14:22:04] We have a few old (reclaimed) hosts with only 64 GB of RAM, which we could decom to allow the new 1024 TB hosts to join the cluster properly. But it seems like a bit of a waste of good hardware.
