Apologies I have a bad memory about how to use differential's strange workflow :) [21:58:27] maybe when we switch to gitlab for the stuff on gerrit, we can also move the repositories that are hosted on phabricator? [21:58:52] that's the hope: one platform for all our repos [21:59:37] including the ones we have on github? I recall at some point asking why they (eslint-related repos I think in that conversation) were not on gerrit and being told that linting-related packages are generally on github [22:00:52] as much as possible. I'm aware of quite a few reasons for repos to be on github: jupyter notebook integration, linting tools, library support -- ideally we'd be able to support all that/cajole upstream gitlab into supporting all of that :) [22:02:22] some of the github stuff is also so "the community can find and submit patchsets/pull requests easier" although I'm not sure if anyone has actually checked the stats on that [22:02:52] right: this repo is meant as a library and github is where libraries get found [22:03:25] all of this will need research and work, but that's the dream/what we're working towards [22:16:34] for being found, it's enough to have a mirror [22:16:38] as there is for other repos
