[01:20:58] Hello [06:50:16] Hi, will join later today, 2pm UTC [08:39:02] ebernhardson: I would like to schedule some time with you to look at a refactoring exercise together [09:44:19] ejoseph: that's a great idea ^ [09:44:39] * gehel thinks that this will be a valuable exercise for both of you! [11:37:01] gehel: i think so too [12:56:59] ejoseph: I've just said "hey" on that Slack conversation, I'll let you pick it up from there (unless you want me to step in) [12:59:24] Yh i will send a message soon [13:06:04] greetings [13:09:35] o/ [13:10:40] Wednesday meeting is open: https://meet.google.com/eki-rafx-cxi [15:10:09] ejoseph: sure, i'd be happy to. typically 15:00 UTC or later works for me [16:06:40] If anyone has time to review https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/operations/puppet/+/791050 it would be appreciated. Should help us get to Bullseye in relforge and beyond [16:06:51] Also, working out, back in ~30 [16:40:42] back [18:02:07] lunch, back in ~30-45 [18:48:33] back [20:02:07] * ebernhardson sometimes wishes the junit runner would swallow exceptions printed by tests unless the test failed [20:06:03] I'm also accepting names other than `jetty-logging` for this module. I'm not a huge fan, but i don't have better names :P [20:20:52] Picking up my son, back in ~30 [20:52:09] back [21:44:10] i wonder what i broke, ssh'ing into .wikimedia.cloud hosts seems to have increased in time, monitoring ssh debug output i get a pubkey denied at +7s, again at +14s, accepted at +19s, then a 20s delay and finally at +39s auth success [21:44:27] (pubkey denied is ssh trying a few of my keys instead of starting with the correct one) [21:44:44] err, i mean increased in how long between me typing ssh and getting a bash prompt [21:45:49] ebernhardson: regarding names, how about `Mjlognir`? It has a certain je ne sais quoi....... [21:45:55] Trey314159: :P [22:22:02] Trey314159: lmao [22:22:57] I would nominate `Mjlogni-tizer`, personally [23:36:17] sigh, no good deed goes unpunished. Removing the logging deps from blazegraph war made integration testing fail, adding the new jetty-logging as a plugin dep makes it all work as we want. And now the test suite generates ~85MB of output (previously, ~13MB)
