I have a patch that touches rsyslog fleet-wide - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/operations/puppet/+/1287374 - so I'm planning to disable puppet on all hosts for a few minutes, while testing it on a couple of canary hosts, then re-enable puppet once it has been shown to be safe.
