[19:42:41] I pulled mediawiki master this morning and it's been doing that since [19:44:47] i tried going back to where git was but it won't work now [19:56:22] i even tried a complete reinstall in a whole new directory, and it did the same thing [19:56:43] which makes me think it might be something more "upstream" in the docker images that's changed? [19:57:26] inductiveload: I haven't run it in a while but I'm going to try starting it now [19:58:57] :-) [20:05:21] were you trying to edit a page? I edited the main page and it seems like it [20:05:25] is working fine [20:05:50] yeah, edit or preview [20:06:31] i have only the docker-compose.override.yml in the example [20:07:02] and MW_USER=Admin and MW_PASS as well just in case [20:07:25] I can see the page and everything [20:08:05] what platform are you on? [20:08:14] arch linux [20:10:00] I'm not using a docker-compose.override.yml and I think the permissions issues have been fixed in the latest image, so I'm wondering if you can do without the "user:" parts of the override file [20:11:03] it looks like that's in the docker-compose.yml anyway though [20:11:49] can you paste your configuration somewhere, like on phab or something? [20:12:26] right blowing away the .override.yml worked [20:12:36] oh nice! [20:13:01] I'll have to update DEVELOPERS.md [20:13:35] and I can still change the page, so DB write access must be working [20:13:42] cool [20:13:45] thank you ^_^ [20:13:57] you're welcome! Glad we could get it working [20:14:06] i have to run, but that has unblocked me for tomorrow :-D [20:14:24] thanks for the docker images, BTW, they're super handy [20:14:31] :D oh good! [20:14:56] just need to get phan working and I can stop spamming gerrit with failing patches :-D [20:15:11] but that could be my own dumb fault since IDK what I'm doing 95% of the time [20:15:37] I don't do much development on MW so I'm often lost as well :P
