[11:25:51] If there is anyone around who has the capabilities to do so. Can they please approve gitlab users ? I'm at the wikimedia hackathon event and i want to help some people move their tools to gitlab. [11:27:11] brennen, thcipriani: ^ [11:28:43] thedj: what's the vet [11:28:44] Event [11:29:27] hashar: ^ [11:30:32] thedj: is the account linked in striker? [11:31:59] wmnl mini hackathon [11:32:14] thedj: I see thcipriani mention toolforge magic, what happens if they create a repo via https://toolsadmin.wikimedia.org/tools/id/X/repos/create [11:32:15] both accounts should already have ldap/wikitech accounts [11:35:01] they did create a repo, but they had already logged into gitlab, so they need approval first apparently. [11:38:50] * RhinosF1 thought there was some auto approval now [11:39:03] anyway, its weekend, so if there's no one around, thats just how it is. But it is kinda weird that even wikitech accounts need to go through approval indeed. [11:51:12] thedj: it's an anti spam measure [11:51:26] But I suggest prep in future for events [12:06:23] yeah but its all experienced ppl, no one thought of the fact that gitlab is new :) [14:13:52] thedj: probs first hackathon since the IDM was introduced for (wikitech) developer accounts [14:13:59] as well [15:26:42] thedj: few hours late, got the ones that had tickets, sorry for the delay!
