[01:36:50] Necesito ayuda [19:26:40] The September 20th dump (enwiki) hasn't been generated yet... is there a known reason for this / phab ticket? [19:26:40] https://dumps.wikimedia.org/enwiki/20240920/ [19:57:40] Headbomb_: Thanks for the heads-up. I will look into this now and either create a ticket and/or report back here. [20:03:33] @btullis thanks [20:05:21] The most likely culprit that comes to mind is this change: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/operations/puppet/+/1070558 which was supposed to lower the number of concurrent 'slots' that the enwiki dump uses. The reason for it is that we have seen disruption to production services that we believe can be traced back to the dumps and their database access. [20:17:01] Headbomb_: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T375692 [20:20:17] thanks, i'll follow the ticket [20:24:12] btullis is https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T368098 related? [20:25:22] Yes. Well, that was the reason that we reduced the number of slots for the enwiki dump, but whether that is the cause of this delay is still not conclusive. [20:28:20] k [20:29:47] Added a mention of T368098 in the comments [20:30:03] T368098: Dumps generation cause disruption to the production environment - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T368098 [20:30:43] :O [20:57:49] OK, I have killed the process that was stuck doing nothing and restarted it. I expect https://dumps.wikimedia.org/enwiki/20240920/ to be refreshed soon, with progress. [20:59:03] What I don't know is why the job starting on the 20th said: `No wikis available to run.` - but we can come back to this analysis.
