[21:40:51] <hare> What user permission do you need to be able to create charts on Commons?
[21:45:30] <Platonides> chart on a wiki page?
[21:45:44] <Platonides> that only requires edit permission, i.e. anyone can do that
[21:59:07] <hare> I see I need to specify a correct suffix...
[22:00:44] <hare> Thank you
[22:04:21] <Platonides> you are welcome
[22:10:08] <hare> I take it the x-axis isn't weighted by the value of the number. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Data:NIOSH.citationsto.chart shows the values equally spaced apart in the second half of the graph even though they should be smushed together more because they are in the same calendar year
[22:12:38] <hare> I'll get around that in the meantime by only including first-of-year so that the data is always evenly spaced apart. My next question is, can the number in the hover-box be more precise than just "4K" or whatever? Showing only one significant digit really hinders the usefulness of the graph.
[22:17:13] <hare> Are charts available on English Wikipedia yet?
