[21:40:11] I try to understand the Extension WikiLamda and the Function Orchestrator. I am interested in understanding the source code of Wikifunctions. Do you think it is possible to generate a more human readable version of the source code of Wikifunctions out of the existing source code. With more human readable I mean a version that is near to the natural language. A few months ago I st [21:40:12] arted a script to convert blocks from programming language Snap to Source Code and I extended it so now also support Scratch. https://public.paws.wmcloud.org/User:Hog%C3%BC-456/BlocktoCode/BlocktoCode%20Notebook.ipynb It is based on a mapping of blocks to code and I tried to do it the another way. So converting source code to blocks. From my point of view this could be maybe a po [21:40:13] ssibility to make it easier to contribute to the source code of Wikifunctions. What do you think about that. Haver there been discussions about how to make contributions to the source code of Mediawiki accessible to more people. I think I understand how programming works but I have difficulties with syntax and so it is difficult to write programs. In the programming language R I [21:40:15] have a basic understand of how the syntax works and also in the programming language COBOL. This is a example of an old programming language that is similar to a structured version of English. From my point of view it would be great if it is possible to make contributions to Wikifunctions source code easier. [23:28:35] That's an interesting project, and given the advances in LLMs certainly an endeavor that might be more reasonable than ever before. I think our goal is to enable wide contributions through the wiki interface, instead of through the backend source. Having said that, I'm very excited about tool chains which would flexibly integrate new functions from Wikifunctions in the right plac [23:28:36] e and thus allow for co creation.
