[00:03:18] Happy new year! [11:39:15] <বোধিসত্ত্ব> Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2023-01-01/Technology report - Wikipedia [11:39:16] <বোধিসত্ত্ব> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2023-01-01/Technology_report [15:11:08] I think that the risk still worth it. Wikifunctions itself is an interesting project. (re @বোধিসত্ত্ব: Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2023-01-01/Technology report - Wikipedia [15:11:09] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost...) [15:12:35] I still see an interesting value of the Wikifunctions Project if it expands itself to include other main datatypes like floats and arrays. [15:18:39] Abstract Wikipedia should be decoupled from Wikifunctions. However, this should not be done for the reasons explained in the Wikimedia Technology Report. [15:20:43] There are many people who can contribute to the Project if we expand it beyond natural language generation. An example is medicine. There are plenty of paywalled repositories for medical functions and classifications. UpToDate is an example of this. [15:21:33] Having a free repository will change the medical practice for many years. [15:24:06] Many UpToDate users will become Wikifunctions users in several months. [18:35:59] Thank you for your point of view. I agree with it, as you can tell from our answer
