[04:51:00] So it appears exactly the same no matter what your interface language is? That sounds like it would be worth changing longer term. (re @genocation: This selector displays the code (Z61K1) of the programming language, not the name. But, apart from this, the data is hardcoded, ...) [06:52:18] Agreed. Also worth considering is the outstanding part of T358571#9603107. Where the metadata Details currently has “Type: Z14K3”, we could show the label for the programming language as well as or instead of the label for Z14K3. [12:03:31] I am famous for supporting the translation of everything, but names of programming languages are a lower priority. Sometimes, these names may be translated incorrectly by translators who don't understand the context. Names like Python, Go, and Swift can easily be translated incorrectly. And even translation that is just copying the English name without change may be [12:03:31] problematic i [12:03:31] n some cases. Their translation should probably be _allowed_, but not actively _encouraged_. On translatewiki, it's called "optional".
