[15:45:00] [1/2] Hello, I have someone trying to sign in and they got an IP blocked by wikitide message. [15:45:00] [2/2] Sounds like he was luck enough to live in a region that had attacks coming from. Is there anything I can do to get him in? [16:47:06] Looking into this for you, do they happen to be on this discord? [16:51:57] [1/2] I appreciate that.. [16:51:58] [2/2] No, he's not on this discord. but I sent him the info.. [16:56:20] Thanks. When the impacted person joins, please have them DM me their preferred username and an email address to connect to that account. [16:56:32] I'll get one created for them and they'll receive an email with a temporary password to log in. [17:12:09] do we have a phorge or phabricator? [17:12:24] yes we do [17:12:35] WT: https://issue-tracker.wikitide.org/ yep [17:12:48] 👍 [17:35:23] He said he's got it all working now, thank you soo much <:wikiforge:1125253550000316467> [17:38:08] Yep, all good. Happy to help. [21:03:21] [1/2] Hi everyone, what’s it like using Cargo or Wikibase for data management on a wiki? I’ve tried to search for examples or tutorials, but I’m having a hard time finding examples of their usage, especially for Wikibase. I’m relatively new to wiki stuff, so maybe I’m looking in the wrong places. [21:03:21] [2/2] A wiki I used to visit a lot uses Semantic MediaWiki, so I understand that one more, and for the wiki I’m making, I’m leaning towards Semantic MediaWiki, but I feel like I don’t know much about the alternatives. [21:04:35] Each have their drawbacks, I'm personally most fond of SMW as well [21:05:10] [1/2] I'm not too familiar with the others either, but this is a pretty thorough review: [21:05:10] [2/2] https://wikiteq.com/post/wikibase-cargo-smw [21:12:31] Thank you! That link is better than the comparisons I found myself.
